I was looking through my graduation photos and I realized I hate my hair right now. Then, I saw my friend’s new bob. What did this make me start to think? I need a haircut!
Here are some options:
Continue growing out my hair/bangs
Keep the length but get layers
Keep the length but cut my bangs
Get my hair thinned
Get a bob
I need your feedback! Tell me what I should do! Do you think I look better with short hair?
I don’t do this often, but I NEEDED to post about my new favorite blog (Hannah, don’t be jealous, I love you too). My friend Emily Judd, the writer of Make, Bake, and Take, is the most crafty person I know. Almost everyday, or at least a few times a week, she posts a new shirt or dress that she created. Check her blog out!

Okay, maybe I stole the title of this post from Hannah’s blog, but it was a great one and she’s probably excited that I loved it so much I wanted to copy it.
Since we’re talking about Hannah, may I just say that I love her BUT I do not like that she has left me. So the consensus is:
Friends don’t let friends leave forever.
That’s why my goal is to convince her to come back here in the fall.
On a similar note, another best friend is leaving me. On Thursday at 8 pm. Yes, I am talking about Michael Scott. I’m serious. I really am sad. Last night I re-watched the proposal scene and musical tribute the group sang to Michael last week. Adding that to a few previews of this week’s episode, I cried. FULL out cried.
I wish there was a way I could convince him to come back in the fall too.
So, that’s my life. Two of my closest friends are abandoning me, and so I am forced to watch Vitamin C’s Friend’s Forever music video over and over.

Well, well, well. It looks like I finally dared myself to write a post. This month has been a bit ridiculous. Lots of changes. Lots of stuff going on. And I’m just tired.
Here are some updates:
I quit the new job. For more reasons than one. And that’s all we will say about that. So, here I am, back in the library.
To work on campus this summer, I had to extend my graduation. Although I walked in graduation last week, I don’t technically graduate until August and I’m taking several credits during Summer term to be able to qualify for insurance and my job.
I’ve completely stopped drinking Diet Coke.
For the first time ever, I finished a whole bunch of bananas before they went bad. The trick is to make a lot of smoothies.
I bought a nice bread maker from my friend who didn’t have room for it.
I’m going home in two weeks for my brother’s wedding. Hopefully I can last until then! I’m really aching for a vacation.
After writing this post, I finally got excited to blog again! Yay! Silver Linings is back in action!

The movie Can’t Buy Me Love is on, starring Patrick Dempsey when he was a teenager. He was such a nerd. It’s so funny to see how much he has changed.
On another note, my house is out of control. As in, the mess is out of control. I ran the dishwasher this week and did all the laundry, but I haven’t made it to the next step yet. There are clean dishes in the dishwasher, so the dirty ones are piling up. And the clean laundry is in a towering pile on the guest bed, getting higher and higher.
My mom is thinking, then why don’t you just take care of it instead of writing a post all about it? That is a good question. But since I have been doing homework nonstop lately, cleaning the house sounds absolutely miserable.
Although it is April, the weather is terrible. It’s snowing outside and I’m drinking hot chocolate like it’s December.
My husband got a $1200 scholarship from a graphic design talent award. I told you he was talented!
I really want to play the new Michael Jackson Kinect game.
I moved my graduation date to August so I could keep my campus job through summer term. But I am still walking in two weeks, do not worry.
Does anyone else think it’s weird that the oldest brother from 7th Heaven will be in a new ABC Family movie? Or maybe it’s a perfect match.
I wish I would have kept a blog through high school because I’m sure those would be funny posts to reread.

Since I spend most of the evenings alone at home studying while T.J. is at the lab working on projects, I like to have a DVD in so I don’t hear the house making creepy noises. Last night I put in Seinfeld-Season 1. One of my favorite episodes of all time is on the first disc of that set.
Fortunately, I found the best part of that episode on YouTube (what would we do without that place?). Unfortunately, you have to click through to YouTube because this video won’t embed.
Seriously, this episode has to be one of the best. And I’m pretty much an expert in this field considering I founded and presided over The Seinfeld Club back in high school (we even made shirts).
Enjoy the clip. Now, go home and watch the whole episode.
FYI, I have a fun new feature at the top of my blog that features four of my favorite songs/YouTube videos. Click the “+” at the top, right-hand corner, press play, and then minimize the drop down box to browse my while the videos play in the background. Hope you enjoy!
For my new job, I had to take a drug test. Quotes from the one Office episode where they all are given a drug test kept going through my mind. I love how Dwight carried around his urine all afternoon, debating whether or not to give it to Michael (I know that’s gross to say on a blog, Mom, but it must be said).
Hope you enjoy the clip. And if you are wanting to watch the best line from that episode, go to this site.

I love thunderstorms in Utah. I think I love them so much just because they don’t occur often. So when we have a good, warm rain, I feel like my skin can finally breathe again.
But there’s one downside to rain:
Worms.
I hate worms. I hate how they’re everywhere after a rainstorm.
When I was a kid, there would be lots of worms in our garage after a big rain. I would have my Dad carry me to the car because I was so grossed out by them. Even if I had shoes, I hated thinking worm guts would be on my soles.
So, this morning when I was walking to school, I noticed something horrible. Worms. Everywhere, because of that big storm we had last night. So I had a choice: Walk normally and step on worms, leaving wormy residue on my shoes OR look like an idiot and avoid each and every worm.
