Summer is over. It ended yesterday. I told T.J. last night while we were laying in bed that one day when I create my own world, it will be summer all year long. But he said, “then you won’t appreciate the summer or have anything to compare it to.” As Nephi said, there must be opposition in all things. So, even though it is sad that summer is over, without the winter, I wouldn’t love summers as much.
Anyway, that being said, I have been feeling very nostalgic lately so I thought I would share some old pictures with you from past summers.

This was the summer of 2003 or 2004. My family had a reunion in Ohio. We stayed at this bizzare bed and breakfast. My bed was in a closet. Awful at the time, great memory.

This was the summer of 2007. Claire was born in August and we all were able to visit Mary Beth and Mark in Washington D.C. for the baby blessing.

This was the summer of 2002? One of the last summers with my grandparents. We were heading down to a wedding reception for my cousin and stopped to see Kelly on our way.

This was the summer of 2004 I think. Sam was about to leave for his mission and my family and I went down to Destin, Florida. It was a great trip and the first summer we didn’t fight all the time.

Who knows when this was, but I found this picture and put it on here just for kicks. Charlie was the best dog that ever lived!

Summer of 2003? Sam was on his everything lobster kick. We went to D.C. to visit my Uncle and Aunt.

-
My parents, Sam and I went to the Grand Canyon, along with a lot of other national parks. It was in-cred-i-ble.

We all went to Montgomery Inn Boathouse in Cincinnati for Ashley’s birthday! Best ribs in the country.
-
-
We all went to L.A. for a family wedding. I got the tannest I have ever been, went to Disneyland with Sam, the Hollywood Bowl to see The Sound of Music, and a few other parks.

I’m not positive, but I’m pretty sure this was just right before I left for college. I did the temple work for my Grandmother Penny. It was a memory I will never forget.

Graduation. I can’t believe this was more than 3 years ago and that in less than one year I will be graduating from college! Time flies!
