4th of July

I spent this 4th of July in Fort Thomas, KY in my home town with my family. It was a scorcher but still so fun! In the morning, we went to the parade and the first part were the fire trucks. Not a great start to a parade from the view of a baby… Eva started screaming because they scared her so much. After I got her calmed down and the trucks passed, she did really well and loved watching all the little kids get the candy and see the floats go by.

The heat wore Eva out so she took a long afternoon nap, I took one too, and then we just kind of hung out around the house for the rest of the day. Very low key but so special to be home on a holiday with my parents again!

Next year, Eva will be running around trying to get the candy…. TIME NEEDS TO SLOW DOWN!
